SUMMARY:Holiday Challenge - 2-Man Pinehurst
DESCRIPTION:​\nHi Guys\, \nThis is the Announcement for our next Tournament\, the “Holiday Challenge” ​2-Man Pinehurst\, which is scheduled for Tuesday\, Dec 17th\, 2024.  Starting times of 9:00 AM off of the #1 & #10 tees.  Please use the link at the bottom of this announcement to sign up.   \nSign-up as a Single or a Twosome.  If you sign up as a single\, we will assign a playing Partner. \nThe Pinehurst System is a format for 2-person teams. Pinehurst is really a melding of several formats into one.  In a Pinehurst event\, both teammates hit tee-shots. They then switch balls after their tee shots and both hit a second shot. They then select the best ball after their second shots\, and then play alternate shot until the ball is holed. The player whose second ball was not chosen plays the third shot (so teams might sometimes choose the best ball after two shots based on who will get to hit the third). \nWhite Tees standard\, however\, any Player may sign-up for the green or red tees if they play those tees more than 50% of the times they play on this course. \nThe Survivor Rule is in effect on #2 (Hills) or #3 (Orchard) for those aged 80 years or more. \nHandicaps effective on December 13th\, 2024\, will be used. \nMultiple Flights will be established based on the total Team Handicap Indices.\nAll Teams within the same flight will start on same Course and Hole.\nWe will assign all Tee-Times and Starting Holes (1st or 10th Holes). \nGross and Net Prizes in each Flight. \nClosest-To-Pin Prize on all Par-3’s\, and Long-Drive Prizes on both Courses.\nOnline Registration closes on Monday\, November 11\, 2024 \nClick Below to REGISTER:\n2024_Dec_17_Holiday_Challenge_Sign-up
