Dear MGCLH Golfer,

As you know, Billy Casper employee Derek Martin passed away on March 17.  Derek was more than just an employee as he was also our friend.  He would bend over backward to support the Men’s Club at our tournaments, Sweeps, and other golf-related events.  The Lincoln CA resident was very involved in community affairs throughout Northern California.

As you also know, the Martin Family is in immediate need of support to get thru these trying times.  There are several golfing clubs hosting fund-raisers and GoFundMe sites.  The MGCLH, in support of the Lincoln Hills Golf Course, has chosen to host an online auction.  100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Martin Family.

The Derek S. Martin Memorial Auction will launch tomorrow (Thursday) at noon.  Initially, there are 6 wonderful items to bid on at the auction, including:

• A unique autographed framed portrait of Arnold Palmer and his golfing trophies while in the Coast Guard.  This is a one-of-a-kind keepsake!!
• 4-some at Catta Verdera Country Club
• 4-some at Winchester Country Club
• 4-some at The Ridge Golf Club
• 4-some at Granite Bay Country Club
• 2020 Membership to the Central Valley Seniors
