Believe it or not, it is that time of year to start the process of filling out your application for the Memorial Tournament, which is a member/member or member/guest tournament. It is a two-man best ball. Some notes to remember:
- The Memorial is scheduled for Tuesday, September 26, 2017 with the registration, putting contest and horse race talking place on Monday, September 25. The outline and times are included in the attached flyer.
- Your board has done a great job with the budget as the price has not changed.
- The price is $75 for members, $100 for guests and they must be males,
- The horse race is $20 per team.
- Please feel free to send your check(s) in any format you choose, but they must add up to $175 for the tournament and $195 if your are in the horse race. Both member’s totals would be $150 for tournament only or $170, including the horse race.
- Registration begins on Monday at 2:30 pm by the putting green where the putting context will take place.
- The putting contest takes place on Monday, starting at 2:30 pm with the finals scheduled for 4 pm.
- The price of the putting contest is $5 per try and you may enter as many times as you wish. The $5 fee is paid on the day of t he event. Denny Wong will be handling the putting contest again. Thank you Denny!!
- The horse race will begin at 4:30 pm with directions given at the starter’s area. The players will be divided in three equal groups. The winners of the three groups will meet at Hole #5 for the finals, which will be a two-hole playoff.
- The breakfast will be held on the day of the event and we have been able to secure the bar area for seating to enjoy the breakfast. The food will be served just outside.
- The tournament will begin at 8 am.
- The bar will open at 6 pm that night with dinner served at 7 pm and awards will follow.
- We plan on seating each 4-some with their wives/significant others at a table and there will be some tables with sponsors intermingled, so those table will have 10 seats.
- All of the payouts are included in the flyer.
- Please fill outage entire application correctly. This includes the choice of dinner for each player and their wife-significant other.
- Please leave your check(s) and application form in the mens club box in the pro shop. It would be preferred to leave your check(s) and application in an envelope, but at least put a paper clip around it so it does not get lost or confused with other documents.
- The deadline is Friday, September 15.
